These are very cool insects. They look like big scary wasps, and can fly.

This is a large insect. The lady handled this thing without fear.

This was a photo I set up in my computer room. I gave the snails a piece of cantaloupe. Shot the scene at f14, 1/125, and iso 640.

1/200, f16 and iso 500. The photo was attempting to see the world as a snail would. Looks a bit like a jungle.

Snails always seem to climb up. They will stretch out looking for something to cling to. Camera settings were 1/200, f-10, iso 400 with flash.

1/250. f-14, no flash at iso 400. The snail was back lit by the sun. Flash failed to go off but I still liked the glow around the head effect.
